The fifth edition of Texhibition Istanbul, Fabric and Accessories Fair kicks today off at the Istanbul Expo Center and will last until 8 March, 2024.
Around 560 exhibitors are presenting a wide range of products such as woven fabrics, knitwear, denim, accessories and faux leather on 35,000 sq. meters to over 30,000 expected trade visitors from more than 100 countries including Europe, The UK, The US, North Africa and the Middle East.
The upcoming edition of Texhibition has more than doubled the exhibition space compared to the last edition to 35,000 sq. meters.
New features of the show include the Yarn Hall (Hall 8) hosting 41 exhibitors and the Blue Black Denim Hall (Hall 7) presenting 21 exhibitors including Isko, Calik Bossa, Kipas and Iskur, a section curated by designer Idil Tarzi.
A new section debuting is the Innovation Hub, an area hosting technological innovations presentedaccording to a concept directed byArzu Kaprol.
The artist Kerim Dündar, instead, designed the entrance area with digital art.
As the fifth largest textile supplier inthe world and the second largest in the Mediterranean-European basin, Turkey is one of the most important players on the global textile market.
A series of seminars and workshops provide visitors information on the latest developments in production and design as the motto of this edition of Texhibition is "Inspiration, Design, Creation, Production: Texhibitionawaits".
