
The 7th edition of the textile trade show Texhibition Istanbul, taking place on March 5–7, 2025, at the Istanbul Expo Center, registered the presence of 22,623 industry professionals from 106 countries.
The show registered 6,000 international insiders, accounting for 26% of the total, coming from 106 countries. From this total, 41.3% were from Europe, hitting a 30% increase compared with the event held in September 2024.
Other geographies visiting the show were insiders from Asia, reaching 32.4%, 14.6% from the Middle East, 6.8% from North Africa (6.8%) and 4.9% from North America.

Among them, there were buyer groups such as Joseph Ribkoff and Simons from Canada, LTM Garmants, Nike, Alexander Wang LLC from The US, Asos PLC, Reiss Ltd from The UK and Ferrotex Industrial, Multigestion and Puntex from the Dominican Republic who networked successfully with Texhibition exhibitors.
The event showcased Türkiye’s textile and apparel sector with its export volume of US$32.1 billion and the global textile panorama in terms of innovation and design expertise with Türkiye as the world’s fifth-largest textile exporter.
In response to rising costs and global competition, Türkiye’s textile industry offers a vast selection of products and innovative solutions focused on sustainability, technology, and market differentiation, while aiming to raise the bar in terms of long-term strategies, emphasizing investment in digitalization and sustainable production to stay competitive.
“Our goal is to be among the top three global textile exporters. In 2024, we grew textile exports by 20% to US$15 billion, reaching 212 countries and regions,” explained TIM President Mustafa Gültepe, depicting his country’s integrated supply chain—from cotton to ready-to-wear—counting over 20,000 manufacturers.
From woven fabrics and knitwear to denim and textile accessories, the show has highlighted a vast selection of global industry players, with a strong focus on quality, innovation, current trends, and sustainable production.
The Blue Black Denim Hall featured 21 leading companies from Türkiye, including Bossa, Calik, Isko, Iskur, Kipaş and Sharabati, who presented their latest sustainable denim concepts and newest developments.
Workshops, creative installations, and the Blue Black Denim Show, made this section one of the most vibrant areas of the event and the area that recalled the highest and fastest growing number of European visitors since the show’s birth.
Artistic and innovative denim collections showcased the latest developments in the denim industry, including metallic-shimmering fabrics and vintage-reworked denim.
Other exhibitors included BTD, Gülle, Hefa, Karafiber, Küçük, Kıvanç, Migiboy, Menderes, Narteks and Yünsa along with leading yarn and fiber manufacturers such as Diktaş, Ensar, Karafiber, Sasa, and Tepar, and embroidering specialists including Estar Broche- AkspaTekstil, Antik Dantel, İpek Tül and İzmir Brode.

Ahmet Öksüz, Chairman of İTHİB, expressed his pride in hosting Texhibition Istanbul for the seventh time, emphasizing its crucial role in strengthening Türkiye’s global presence in the textile industry.
“With a strong focus on sustainability, digitalization, and creative innovations, Texhibition Istanbul 2025 has demonstrated that the future of the textile industry lies not only in high-quality materials but also in smart, eco-friendly solutions,” said Fatih Bilici, vice chairman of İTHİB and chairman of the exhibition committee.
He also underlined ho the show was a key meeting point for connecting Turkish manufacturers with top global buyers and showcasing the country’s leadership in sustainable and technology-driven textile production.
