The four-week training program organized by İTHİB on "Certificates, standards and programs for the textile industry" has been completed.
The "Certificates, Standards and Platforms for the Textile Industry" training program organized by İTHİB started on September 20 with the opening speech of İTHİB Board Member Sultan Tepe. The training programs, which were held every Wednesday for four weeks until October 11, focused on certificates, standards, and programs regarding sustainability.
In the training held on September 20, certificates, standards, and programs for raw materials were discussed with the participation of USB Certification General Manager Nesrin Serin and Good Cotton Practices Association General Manager Şükran Bayçura.
Hohenstein Turkey General Manager Bahadır Bulut participated in the September 27 program as a panelist. Bulut delivered a presentation in which he included information about certificates, standards and programs for environmental, chemical and holistic control and Hohenstein to the participants.
In the October 4th session, Amfori BSCI Turkey Representative Müge Tuna Kurt was the guest as a panelist. Certificates, standards, and programs for ethical control were discussed in the program. Participants learned about Amfori BSCI. The last week’s program, in which FibreTrace Country Manager Hakan Canpolat and Open Supply Hub Stakeholder Communications Manager İrem Yanpar Coşdan participated as panelists, focused on traceability-oriented programs.
It was a great pleasure that the interest in the trainings, which hosted nearly three thousand people, never decreased, the participants took part in the training interactively and found comprehensive answers to their questions.
